SPEAKING

L. A. W. - Speaks

Larry Wansley is a globally respected award-winning leader and speaker whose inspirational keynote messages touch audiences worldwide.   They are tailored to meet an organization’s mission and needs as well.

At the core of his messages are lessons learned and principles established in addressing global issues ranging from life and death situations to stability of governments and corporate success.  He takes the audience through an exotic world of multiple identities as an FBI deep undercover agent which prepared him for the varied adventures and challenges which followed:

Larry grew up in a small town at the height of segregation and experienced the turmoil and pains of being among the first to integrate the high school.  After graduation, he joined the Marine Corps which is the foundation of who he is today.  From the Marines he entered law enforcement as a police officer in Compton California (depicted in the 2015 movie “Straight Outta Compton”).  His gritty Compton years established a solid foundation for his FBI covert years, which are reflected in his book “FBI Undercover, The True Story of Special Agent Mandrake”.  Afterward, he took a break to become an FBI National Academy Counselor in Quantico, Va.  That was a precursor to the ground- breaking career move as the Dallas Cowboys Director of Counseling Services.  As such, he developed player support programs and was a daily resource for them.  His growth and experience continued through a leave of absence as Whitney Houston’s World Tour Security Director which allowed him to promote international football for the Cowboys and NFL.  That led to him becoming a founding member of the NFL’s- World League of American Football. With the world changing after the Gulf War, he became the Corporate Security Director for American Airlines global operations. He was instrumental in American’s 9/11 disaster response and security operations. After retiring from AA he returned to the Cowboys as Director of Corporate Security.  His wealth of international experience provides perspectives that are relevant to varied situations and issues which will inspire audiences worldwide.
